John Cabot University’s neighborhood, Trastevere, is the medieval Roman neighborhood “beyond” the Tiber. Cobblestoned streets, amazing little restaurants, and fascinating buildings serve as the background of sunny “Trasteverini” days. A quick stroll from the city center across Ponte Sisto leads to Piazza Trilussa, which brings residents and tourists together on the steps to enjoy a slice of “pizza al taglio”. From Piazza Trilussa, a short walk through cobblestone alleys will take you to Santa Maria, a large square in the heart of Trastevere that is home to one of Rome’s most charming basilicas. Steps away from the Coliseum, Trastevere will steal your heart forever.
